Fancy a bike engined 7 style car but which one?
Discussion
I am totaly new to kit cars and would rather buy than build, I fancy getting myself a bike engined lotus 7 style car for the summer. I am not realy interested in racing but might do a few track days. I am also 6 foot 3" and well built so size is an issue. any ideas would be most appreciated.

I'm not gonna recommend any particular car but I would recommend getting yourself too a show and checking them all out for yourself, speak too owner/builders for an honest opinion on how they went together/drive etc....
Most owners will be biased towards their particular make off car hence why I ain't recommended a particular one.

We've just been through the "I'm big and tall, which 7 clone will fit me?" process

From your potential choices culled from that lot, see which ones support bike engines.
Voila! you have your shortlist.
There's loads of threads on bike engined cars, which engines are best and worst, which manuafacturers have which stregths and weaknesses, try the 'search' function.

I reckon that you'll be fine in a dax rush, there is plenty room in these cars, i've had a mate of mine who's 6'6" out for a full day in the car and there was loads of room for him, driving and in the passenger seat.
if you are looking for a bike engined car, i will be selling mine shortly as i really don't have the time to use it at the moment and it's a waste to be sat in the garage for another year. i only did 300 miles in it last year.
it's got the proper engine - gsxr1300, which has been fully sorted by holeshot racing. if you are going for a seven kit car, nothing will touch this combination, unless you get a turbo...
