I had the same thing on a Locust. Is it coming in through the heater? If not then it could be getting in through the gear gaitor. I managed to make a tight seal low down on this to stop it getting in.

Otherwise, check to see if the fumes are coming from your breathers? I ran then through a filter to try and cut down on the amount of fumes escaping into the car as I once gave myself Carbon Monoxide poisoning by running too long with the roof up.

In that case have a look at the end of the footwells in the engine bay and see if there are any gaps in them? Especially the passenger side. What engine are you running? If its the crossflow then some of the older carbon steel exhausts fracture at the manifold releasing the gasses into the engine bay and then the passenger compartment.

Hope some of all this can help, but not sure how different the Locust and Westfield are.

Its a westfield seiw 1800 05 plate we thinks the exhaust fumes maybe hitting the rear fender then going up into the cab so going to make a make shift exhaust end see if that work but what you said about graps in the footwell has help now you have said that because there is some gaps irl sort that out as well thanks for the help jonty99
