Having become the proud owner of a Locost I'm now getting down and diry with some much needed repairs albeit with barely a clue what I'm doing and no idea what donor parts have been used previously.

First issue, dampers on but springs off as they're 50% too long. I'm not into cutting them down so knowing that I need dampers with a 10 to 14" range and springs at 200 to 220lb rating where should I be looking for a new set? I've not found anyone that suggests a suitable donor car for the front shocks?

GTS seem to have a custom set but only sell front and back from what I can see.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Rally Design sell coil over springs, as to Demon Theives.

You need to know what length and rate springs you require. Typically on a live axle Locost the fronts will be in the range 200-300 lbs/inch and rears 100-160 lbs/inch depending on the weight of the engine/chassis/driver and it's intended application.

Thanks all, I'm getting slightly different suggested specs but I have at least found helpfull advice and GTS have been very good so far. (12" full open on 275lbs springs)
