Gt40 - which one - MDA or Tornado?

Hi guy's, I'm thinking of building a GT40 in the near future (well maybe another couple of years after I've put the TVR back together....).

I've looked around and can only find the MDA and Tornado one's - are these the only manufacturers? (I'm aware that GTD no longer exist).

Does anyone have relevant experience of either of these? and what sort of realistic cost would I be looking at for a decent'ish spec?

Not built a kit before - is this a realistic idea as a first build?

I have seen the Tornado product and it is quite simply superb and chassis looks very very well made with the best powder coating ive seen. It is not a big company, infact theres only two guys working there and they are certainly not short of orders. You can be sure that the guy who picks up the phone will be able to answer your questions which is really important to me a a novice. Maybe after my 7 is built I will move on to a haul ass TS40...

Thanks for that - the fact that they're fairly local appeals to me as well.
