ive looked at my tiger super six and still the speedo is yet to work properly. ive check it out and the magnets are there and so is the sensor on my electronic speedo. however after i had a poke around it started to work briefly but now it is erratic again. not sure of the problem still. any help??? please??? thank u.

If you poked it and it worked then either there is an intermittant connection (not fun to find) or your poke placed the sensor closer to the trigger wheel. Some sensors can be very sensitive to the working gap with 1mm or less being required.

Agree with Steve that it's worth checking the gapping.

Might also be worth unmounting the sensor so you can wave a magnet around near the end of it to see what sort of results that produces.

Once had a problem with an electronic speedo on a quad I converted to road use that turned out to be a fault in the cable running from the sensor to the speedo.
