Hi all,

I started a thread a couple of months back but couldnt find it. Anyway after buying my DB DAX Cobra and getting some work done, i finally picked it up last friday and drove up to Scotland in it. I am in awe at this car, truly gorgeous to look at and it sounds phenomenal!

Anyway, here are the pics of the end result.

Regards,

Matthew

Cheers

To be honest, i think i prefer it with the top on, it just looks so awesome. A mixture between new and old and the curves work so well. I just cant wait to get her out this weekend!!!

Hi Dave, hows things?

I was planning on it to be honest but I was caught up in 2 hours of traffic leaving London which buggered me up and the car was crammed to the seams with stuff!! Great drive though and its so much better than i thought it would be.

Was going to call you and let you know I got it and I would be interested in getting the roof trimmed etc.

What do you think anyway, without the stripe etc?

regards,

Matthew

Fabulous car.......
Thanks but it makes a big difference to me because i can then drive it in all kinds of weather, not that its advised given the power but still, rain etc wont be an issue.

Like a couple of others though, i think it looks better with the roof especially from the rear quarter, what a fabulous design by Dave.

Nice tidy example of a cob that is! Only thing I'd change is the stalks for som e shiny stainless jobbies, but you probably agree in a car so shiny and nice!

Where can i get them? I saw a car with them but it seemed a pain to fit?

There was some on ebay, search under locost or kit car parts. They should be a case of undoing/taking apart the normal (ford?) switches and replacing the stalk with the stainless ones. That or see if there are some complete after market switches.
