BRAKE PRESSURE SWITCH HELP ME
Discussion
Hi all
I am having a problem with my rear brake lights on the Fury, the brakes have been bled and no air in the system, the brake lights come on with a pressure switch in line on the rear brake line, my problem is I have to pump the brake pedal 2 or 3 times before the light comes on, my question is, do I need a new switch and if so what pressure rateing should it have or do I need a new master cylinder?
Any idea what pressure is in a brake line in psi or Bar
regards
mathew

Do the brakes work properly, or is being built?
Ignoring the lights - does the brake pedal feel right? - if it gets firmer as you pump it, you still have air to expel from the system.
As a separate issue, if the pedal feels as if it comes up to pressure straight away, then you need to investigate the switching problem for the brake lights.
