Lancia Stratos??
Discussion
The only 2 companies I know about are Hawk and Napier Sports, but you'd getter a better idea here Stratos forum.
Martin (who really should try and make up his mind if his next kit is going to be a Stratos or GT40 replica).

i built a Corse, back in the days when Litton made them.
the quick answer re whether to get the Corse or Transformer is - if you are looking for "accuracy", go for the Transformer, but if you are looking for a great handling car that just happens to look like a Stratos, get a Corse i.
PM me if you want any more info. . .
Ditto what vojx says. Napier Sport describe the Corse as an 'evolution' rather than a replica, so the rear suspension uses wishbones rather than struts to provide more forgiving handling than the originals.
Drove one for a few laps around Brands and survived a slight oversteer moment through Paddock Hill Bend without any real drama, so I'd say it was nicely controllable.

That'll be me too! I've got a Hawk HF3000.
Transformer is a previous incarnation of Hawk.
You won't go wrong with either manufacturer.
Budget £20-25k for self build.(upwards, as ever you can spend as much as you like)

Anybody actually have a kit underway?
Midlands eh?
Rob, there's a club gathering to show some cars to interested people coming up in a couple of weeks - you'd be very welcome to go along, poke about and ask questions. Scroll down this thread for details http://www.stratossupersite.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3597&page=2&pp=30
There'll be examples of cars from both manufacturers there. It's just an unofficial club get together.
