Pilgrim Minotaur
Discussion
Good mate of mine is building one.... he's sticking an LS1/2 in it with 450bhp and he's spent a lot of time tidying up the shut lines, he didn't get it from Pilgrim so they may have sorted that now though.
It'll be one hell of a car when he's finished and already looks awsome even though its not painted.

The Minotaur has actually been around for 9 years but it's always been very low key and never really lived up to it's 'Ultima rival' potential. Maybe it'll do better under Pilgrim's ownership, though they don't seem to be pushing it that hard.
Originally designed by a UK based Greek guy, he had agents in Sweden who were preparing one for a speed event held on public roads over there where they were hoping to do over 200mph. Don't know how well they did or even if they actually competed though.

Ahh, that explains why I found in a few different places on the web, including Minotaur Sports cars.I guess it'd be a bit of a brace move to go for then, is it based on a donar chassis or a brand new chassis?

take a look at his site... his kit is pre Pilgrim (and the 1st self built kit I am told) but I don't think they have changed much.

Saw one at MPH last night and was very impressed with it, lovely looks, stylish but simple interior and a big old V8 mounted behind your ears.
Don't suppose anyone knows much about them at all?
Yeah - I was there Friday night - looked rather nice I thought - what was the turnkey price.....I seem to remember about £65K?Don't suppose anyone knows much about them at all?
Did you see the Farbio? Was suitably impressed with that.

Saw the car at the show... have to say the interior looked excellent......
The price on the sign was 65k for the same spec as the show car that seems to be a very low spec for the price with a cheap renault box and a simple SBC V8.
It was parked next to the Porsche Carrera GT (which is one of my favourite cars) and it wasn't let down by looks, It was genuinelly great to see it at such a major car show.
