Isn't an ST170 engine just a Zetec with variable cam timing? As far as fitting to an MT75, I would have thought you would need the same as a standard Zetec install, but not sure.

I understand what you’re saying, however the st engine has a big alu section before the sump pan, I think it’s going to be a hack saw job.

The block on the ST170 is a 2.0 zetec. It does have a Duretec badge on the top to confuse us but then Ford have a trim level called zetec which you can spec on an oil burner, again just to keep us in the dark prosumably. Dont know what you mean by the ally bit. If your pulling it out of a car dont forget the module under the rear seat which varies pump pressure. Regards Stuart
