Hi Dick, Ariel dont sell kits.
The Mev Rocket kit is not an Atom but it is a mid/rear 2 seater with an exposed tubular chassis. You could always supoercharge a 2.0 mondeo black top and stick it in one. Still not an Atom but you will get passengers screeming if theyre daft enough to get in a car with around 500 bhp per ton. Also similar is the bike engined vstorm from sdr. You can see both at Exeter this weekend.

There are a couple of kits which come rather close to the Atom (atleast in appearance). Certainly the original is mind blowing - the only car I've ever been in that altered my perception of fast.

MEV is one (as mentioned); SDR V-Storm is another (and 3-seater).

Vaguely related - why is there an Atom in the Honda adverts during Grand Prix coverage?

That is a nice looking car. I think I prefer it to the Atom in fact, but the trouble is I was tempted to put "to the original" and I think that says it all for these exo-skeleton cars.

Thanx for posting the link, thats a great looking car and not too dear when looking at the spec. Am I seeing things or will this not go round a corner? If you look at Roadster images number 2, the pic on the right shows a view from the drivers position. Is the inside wheel turning in less than the outside of the turn? It looks like the camera was square on but shows Ackerman in reverse. Maybe its not been driven yet.

Stig,

the pictures are deceiveing...the production car is not shown on the website...in fact all of the NEW features of the car are not shown...new IT guy starts next week and we will have the latest and greatest new info uploaded and available then.
The car goes round corners very well...rest assured...

And yes its available in RHD...I am Brit so I manufacture all of the cars to be RHD/LHD compatible..

Any questions feel free to ask away...or drop me an email.

Of the above I'd be inclined to go for the SDR simply for the versatility. If you're looking for extreme performance but want a bit more bodywork around you, you could consider the Furore Formula One - www.furorecars.co.uk  I would suspect all owners are extrovert!laugh
