They're not valuable but are quite rare so worth the effort if you like that sort of work. Subaru engine transplant maybe
Some pics and information here, yellow one is a particularly nice example.

I like it........it's the cheapest way to have a Miura inspired kit.
A nice restoration project, with some modern 17in. wheels and a few design tweeks, it would look modern, and with a Subaru or Alfa Boxer engine...
Just go for it...

Miura? ..... where do you see the Miura in that?IIRC it was a rip off from the NOVA.
Never thought the Avante looked pretty myself - it lost all the best lines of the Nova.

Not arguing that the Nova had Miura inspiration, mostly from the black slatted rear window and engine cover and the rear body work swage over the arches but the Avante dispensed with those and altered just about every other line so that it's no were near as cohesive as the Nova was.
(FYI I owned and rebuilt a Nova in the mid '80s, metallic purple it was, wonder where it is now?)

I don't suppose you remember the registration by any chance? I've only ever seen one in metallic purple - it's currently in great shape, on the road, & run by one of our club members.(FYI I owned and rebuilt a Nova in the mid '80s, metallic purple it was, wonder where it is now?)
