So... found the car I wanted (not a kit admittedly) and I'm not convinced it'll fit in my garage! To be precise there is 5mm difference between the width of the car and the garage and I'm not that good a driver!

So, back to the draring board perhaps. Does anyone know how wide a Libra is? smile

Maybe I should just say sod the practicality and get a seven? scratchchin

Get a 7.

I am sure modern gagrges are only built for 7's. I have one of these integral garages and unless you want to get in and out of your car jukes of hazzard style through the windows the 7 is the only option.

Fold the mirrors in and push the car in, it isn't too heavy... The Libra is not exactly a big car, amazed it won't fit! Might be worth getting somebody to measure their car rather than trust published data too?

No - it's not the Libra that won't fit. I was looking at a TVR, but even the pint sized S is the same size as my garage door (+/- 5mm!)

What do you guys take me for? smile If I'd bought a house I would have found one with a decent sized garage. The reason I can afford to play around with cars is I have a room in a rented house with no garage access and all the local lock-up garages are pigmy sized. I knew a 2+2 GT was out of the question, but I couldn't even fit my daily-driver supermini in it.

The Leader goes in fine, but it seems I've underestimated how compact it is.
