Hi All

Can anyone recommend a supplier of ready to run Chevy V8's? I have heard good things about some out of the USA, and the opposite too!

I'm lookling to drop a 5.7 into the track car for a bit of fun :-)

Any suggestions most welcome.

Cheers,

DTC

Big Al.

Hi Steve

Thanks, just been looking.

Not too bad at all. I'll give them a call to see what they can do in regards to a 5.7 LS engine :-)

Cheers,

Droptheclutch (on TVRCC too)

Woah - don't forget the engine suppliers in good ole Blighty!

Mike Huddart (bit of legend in cobra circles) http://www.huddartengines.co.uk/
(his track day specials are 500-600hp)

and

British American Engines - http://www.britishamericanengines.co.uk/

to name but two.

Importing doesn't always work out cheaper - think plus shipping, plus duty then plus VAT. And if you have any issues . . . .

I can recommend BritishAmericanEngines, they have built two engines for me, speak to Ian Briggs, his builder is called Jez Hodge of Custom Power and Paint, very helpful and knowledgeable chappie. Also bear in mind that the yanks quote their horsepower in ponies not horses!
