I'm building two Cobra replicas using the usual jaguar running gear and I'm looking for reasonably priced alloy wheels but definitely want to avoid the Halibrand look. Given the offsets I require I have to either go for three piece wheels or find somewhere that will weld the rims onto the alloy centre to get the back spacing correct.

Apart from Image, Superlite, Revolution or Compomotive does anyone know of an alloy wheel manufacturer/ supplier in the UK that can custom make wheels.

There's always the option of buying from the USA given the exchange rate but with transportation, customs duty and a wish to keep some engineering in the UK I would prefer to buy from someone on this side of the pond.

Cheers,

Tony

Have a look at these people - http://www.performancealloys.com/custom_wheels.asp

when I get home I'll try and find the link I had to an Italian company who were very helpful for me a while back, had a UK distributor to take the pain out of purchase as well.

Worth having a look at Braid wheels as well - Spanish company - I think they are actually available though performance alloys but their own website is quite helpful.

It used to be Italian, but was sold a few years ago, and they do manufacture some really nice alloys..
