Well that doesn't look too bad! Proportions on the front end are still a little bit odd but the general lines of it are good, and with a Toyota V6 - presumably mid-mounted? - it won't be anything to sniff at.
Difficult to make comments about proportions as the pictures were taken using a wide angle lens which causes distortion.FlossyThePig said:

Well you know what I mean, the styling. You can tell that the headlights are too tall in proportion to the length of the nose and the chin is too small etc.Honestly, there are so many absolutely foul looking kit cars... it can't be that hard to come up with something that looks beautiful, surely. We've all drawn sketches on napkins of incredible looking supercars. Makes me want to properly design my own; I mean...
How hard can it be?

Styling is only part of the equation, the difficult part is factoring development and tooling costs, and those are pretty steep, but if you're looking for a one-off supercar, then things change a bit.
A lot of concept sportscar don't leave the napkin stage, and I've seen quite a few of those.......

The Nagari has made it to the prototype stage, and that is quite an achievement in todays specialist kitcar market.

Erm.....very hard in my book, unless it happens to be something you're very good at.I don't think most folks have the skills to design something on paper, that looks good from all angles in reality. I wasted 2 years trying to restyle mine (6 shapes, which all ended up pig ugly), before drafting in a professional to do it properly.

Why have they revived the old name for a different car? The original Nagari was a V8 (Ford 302 or 351 IIRC)http://jalopnik.com/cars/melbourne-motor-show/auss...

Toyota V6
The current "Aussie" V8s are so much better than the old lumps, either the Holden (Chev) 6.0 or the Ford 5.4 would have been the better choice for this car.We had 2 Nagaris racing in the "Street car" class I competed in at Wanneroo in the 80s, I'll see if I can find a pic.
Change of tack, I saw it at the Melbourne Motorshow last weekend and frankly its pants in the flesh. The rear end has late model Integra taillights and the front end has some hideous trailer lights for indicators. It looks so unresolved and quite hamfisted. What i can't understand is theres heaps of kids at uni who could design a better shape than this, they would do it for free as well probably!
