Anybody know what it might have been ??

I was out and about over the weekend and I saw a car that I'm sure must have been a kit but don't know what it was.

As I approached it from the rear I just thought it was a Corvette (modern'ish one like C6) but as I got closer and draw up alongside I thought it was more Viper like. From the front it also looked Viper like with vents in the bonnet.

Anybody know what it could have been ?

Sounds like it was definately American! Maybe have a search of Callaway, Saleen ect? could be a Callaway Corvette pehaps. There was a few tuned Corvettes made with Carbon bodies produced I believe, basically proper road legal racecars. I would think that the most likely given the vague info.

Could have been a 'vette I guess although I'm sure the rear end wasn't 'vette like, think I would have remembered it as the rear end is always very noticable with the circular lights.

I'll have to keep my eyes out for it............

My guess, it was a Mosler, it uses the rear of a modern corvette!
