Hi all
I have been looking at purchasing a talon 100r "kitcar". After reading a review by total kitcar which added that this type of car was becoming increasing popular i.e a normal car with engine conversion etc. Does anybody know of any other companies that supply similar products? Doesnt have to be metro based but any dare I say it normalish car.

Thanks

I don't know of anything similar, but I know about 4 people with Talon cars and I've been 'round Donington and Brands in the demonstrator with a Talon driver at the wheel and I nearly st myself. The speed we were going through corners and past Lotus Seven lookalikes was just awesome!!

I don't work for Talon, by the way!

Been in the Talon metro round Brands Hatch and Bruntingthorpe its amazing seeing the supposedly superior cars it can go past on track. Couldnt realy ask for a better service aswell (having used them for my old GTM K3)

I can vouch for the Talon Metro having driven it round Brands Hatch. Easily quicker than a Standard'ish Elise and a doddle to drive. Safe, and absolutely hilarious! Shame Rover never made it themselves, as it is all Rover parts-bin stuff, as it could have been a Clio 182 ten years earlier than Renault made one. Also it was rock-steady on A-roads like you would not believe.

And I do not work for them either.

Seeing Gareth drive around the outside of a GT3 RS at Zolder whilst waving was quite something.
