Does anyone know much about a Birkin S3 Sports Car?

I have sourced a Birkin S3 sports car.
It has a 2.0 Zetec race tuned engine.
Thats about as much as i know apart from the previous owner liked telegraph poles!
If anyone has any experience of knowledge please let me know.

About 6 years ago, I was very close to buying a Birkin. Very well executed 7esque car. I thought it was as well done as the Caterham, but for slightly less money. At that time the savings were there because they were built in South Africa. They deconstructed them to mke 'kits' for the UK!

I liked the Ford engine, the suspension set up, and thought the pedal box was a great design.

In the end I bought a proper car with doors and wind up windows.

I believe any spares for the "car" need to be sourced from South Africa. Readily available though.
