I've been given a Quantum Extreme 2ltr that was part built by the factory in 2006.

However,I'm thinking about putting it on the market but cannot find any other examples for sale, so have no idea at where to pitch it in this current market.

Is there any kit car sites that can give me a guide. I see the factory has a couple for sale but they seem overpriced for such a car.

Any guidance would be welcome.

Not that I'm aware of as such, but they're not massively rare, so I'd start checking the classifieds on here, Madabout-kitcars and Total Kit Car.

I can recomend the xtreme. It's a great fun seven style kit but with a usable boot! It also fits my lardy butt and copes easily with my lanky 6'4" frame.

The Quantum is an ideal car for a taller guy, mine was the best fitting kitcar of the 3 I've owned but being a stainless steel monocoque its a bit heavier but compensates a bit with chassis stiffness. I'd like another so if you're offloading? I sold my car with a 170 hp pinto and good set up for £4000 5 years ago, I think the market is probably around £6k for a medium condition/spec car but the powertrain will influence this heavily e.g. there is a nice Honda S2000 car for 12k or a duratec for 8k. Many people spend a fortune on building cars but the resale value rarely reflects this as kit cars are not generally a good investment in my experience, just loads of fun and a great hobby.

I think that's a fair point, didn't notice the date! Maybe a good argument for wiping off dormant and ancient threads?
