'Ugly' springs to mind...

I have never seen this before.. but it started off so well.. I liked the back view, but then the side started going astray - then clapped eyes on the front end? Good grief.
why try and nail on the front end of a 356? wrong wrong wrong.
Pity as I am a big of fan of small dinky coupes (Smart Brabus, Libra etc..)
not this one though!

During a trackday weekend at Zolder there were about 4 of these PGO's. At least 3 of them were seen in the gravel traps. Some more than once. Think they have Peugeot 206 GTi engines? Not very fast thats for sure, and am sure they cost more than en Exige.

they are not more than an Exige.
Well mine wasn't

ETA
PGOs are not kit cars.

Simply stunning.stunning that anyone could come up with something quite so abortionate.
, I just think that the concept of a mid-engine sportscar doesn't make sense.Joe T said:
Oh dear, I normally try to be positive about most designs but that does not look right, its the way the doors seems to have been put on like an afterthought, look at the sill lines.
That's a classic example of parts you like from other cars being put together to make a mutant.Just look at the panel gaps.

The fact it costs £6,000 less than a Supercharged Exige is just as well, as I doubt it could hold a candle to a boggo used £7k Elise performance wise. As a modern visual interpretation of the Porsche (in original PGO 356 guise, NOT that vile new thing) it works, but the performance seems way off the mark for a £29K sportscar from what i have seen. The Talon Metro 1.8 we had with us at Zolder ran rings around it (them) . Not seen the performance figures, but I apologise for making any reference to a Lotus in my previous post. Think it may be unfair as it is more of a pose / cruiser than a hardcore sportscar. Which is a shame, as could you imagine it with the modern dynamics of an Elise?

The Cevennes is not supposed to be a track car.Given the choice of driving my old elise or my current PGo to Le Man I would take the PGO every day.
It's a far more civilised car and easier to get in and out of with a better roof.
So far it has been far more reliable that my Elise was (I got pissed off with the Elise after about 6 months)
I am sure that any Elise would run rings around a PGO but exactly how much of you time do you spend on the track?
You could have a Cevennes and a £7000 track car or bike.
