Decided to take the plunge and get a kit car unsure of what to go for as i'm a big lad 6 foot and 20 stone so not sure what my ample bulk will fit into so any advice and pointers will be gratefully accepted.

it might be the wrong kind of year for it, but if you go to one of the kit car shows i'm sure people will let you sit in one to find out what fits

i would offer you my gtm spider but but to be honest i think it may be a little cramped, and its not easy to get into

im assuming you want a sports car kir car???
like a 7, cobra, similar

some of the 7s have wide body options, although some of the normal width ones are quite easy to get into, but im not exactly big

Big Dean is about 20 stone and 6' 4". He has a Fury, it looks nice on him.


He was big enough to bottom out my Furyblade to the bumpstops before he even had his maiden drive ( lightweight springs) , but he can fit comfortable in a Fury chassis as long as the seats do not have too much side bolstering. And we managed to squeeze him into a standard R1ot at Stoneleigh. They said they could make a special wider chassis for him if necessary. But if Big Deano can fit in a Fury or R1ot, I am sure you could!

6'4" here and no light weight.

My Fury was "comfortable" enough whilst I caned the living ste out of it on track sessions.....
