I just noticed that Gkd Sportscars has created a Seven with Bmw series 3 as a donor, replacing the aging Sierra.

A very good idea in my opinion, and I'm sure a few others wil follow in the future.

No pictures of the car unfortunately.....frown

What do you all think of this donor?

Latest CKC says both the Legend and the Evolution now use a 3-series donor and will accept both E36 and E46 parts, so a massive range of engines, brakes etc. Seems to be a fantastic idea IMHO, the Legend will only take the 4-pots but the Evolution can take the 6 pots include the M3 engine and 3.0d, now there's an idea!

Peter has been doing a lot of work on the Evolution and I have seen the M3 powered beast. It looks really nice and sounds like the BMW parts are a very cost effective option. If I ever get rid of the G27 I would seriously look at the GKD Evolution as a replacement.

Looking forward to seeing more pictures of the chassis and engine....smile, the car has potential.

The legend prototype is now up for sale at £7995 which is not bad for a fully built car!
