hi im new to all this, 63years old and just aquired a unfinished kit took awhile to fathom out whose it was and would love any help in positive id and know more about the chassis

Indeed get yourself over to the Cobra Replica Club as per the link and introduce yourself and post some pics of the car/ chassis etc posted.

There's an active group of owners in the South West, quite a few being of the more mature characters with lots oif time to spare , so no doubt they will be more than happy to help with advice and knowledge.
