So ... how much have you spent on your car this year?

Came across a similar thread on SELOC (www.seloc.org) about Lotus Elise/Exige ownership and was a bit shocked by the results, so I thought I'd pose the same question on here, to see if my Fury R1 is representative of kit cars in general.

I only do about 3000 miles a year but costs this year have been:
Road tax £125,
Insurance £146,
Oil £30,
Filter £6,
exhaust packing £40,
DIY servicing £0,
4 x A048R £360,
Trackdays £240

So not a lot really. After petrol, the most expensive cost has been tyres at around 13p per mile. Worth every penny though! :-)

I'll do it from last September to this September (since it's when insurance and tax are both due)

Tax: £185
Insurance: £350
Oil: £25
Oil filter: £10
Wastegate: £100

Did about 3500 miles; 19p per mile.
