just bought some Cobra monaco s leather seats for my murtaya build for £180 delivered, totally mint except a 1 inch section that the seam needs restitching (i can take the leather off and do that no probs)

just had to tell someone, told the guy that they retail at over £900 in leather finish - gobsmacked i think was his thoughts

Bargain hunting is part of the fun of building a kit car! My best was when i was working on behalf of British Gas, in an old dodgy wheel and tyre shop. While in the basement, i noticed 1 black wheel with "Dymag" written on it, gathering dust on the top shelf. I knew from Westfield that a set of 13" Dymags were about £2,000. I asked the young lag what they were from, he said not sure, but Ford pattern, 13" and two were a bit wider that the others.... Bought as part of a job lot from a bankrupt company, and they could not sell them as they fitted no road cars. My heart was pounding by now, and i asked how much. He said £150, so i said £600 for the set? No, he said, £150 for the lot.... For some reason i had £120 in my pocket, and the lad said "Oh go on then, just don't tell the Boss...." Like i was going to! Full set of Brand new 13" Magnesium Dymags, £120. I never managed to top that one.
