A couple of 'Name That Car' Pictures
Discussion
I've seen both before.
The top one I think was a GTM or similar type that was shown at a show but never made it into production.
The bottom one IIRC was a 1950's Testarossa inspired car called the Monza or something similar. It was around the time that Lee Noble was building his original P4 replica before he moved on to the Ultima I think. It might even be connected, or someone like Gardner Douglas or RAM trying to do something other than a Cobra.
ETA
This is the car I think I was thinking of and it's not quite the same.

The first was a prototype made by Midtec as a replacement for the Midas Bronze. I can't remember the name and it will take me some time to find it in my archives.
I remember talking to the guys developing who were very enthusiastic but I believe it never got beyond a rolling chassis/body.

Nope. The Excelsior WAS the Midas successor. Hugh is right with what he says, if he could just get the name.....
It used Fiesta bits and Sierra and was, I believe, RWD......
Midtec Calico - first shown at the NEC in 1994.

Corsa headlights but mainly Ford rwd running gear (Sierra?). A very ambitious specification, including driver's airbag and central locking.
