chain drive lsd
Discussion
I've made a few for people and was wondering if there is a market for them?
If so whats the competition?
I've found quaiffe's obviously, which is obviously brilliant but costly, I've found westering garages sierra conversion which is ok but comes out about £800 by the time you factor in the shipping...
Is there a market for a quality built chain driven LSD?
any ideas would be greatly appriciated.
Many Thanks
Daniel

If you are looking for a market, and can do that kind of thing, then get cracking on the reversing capability for bike engined cars that will become essential on any kit on which the owner has appled for an SVA by the end of February. Cost will be a big factor here. If you can do one at a reasonable price then you will have a lot of sales, I reckon.
Starter motor acting on the output of the gearbox seems to be the way to go.
Still do the chain drive diffs as well, of course.

really?
Jesus I never knew the reverse thing was such a big thing, I've been doing that on mates off-road buggies for ages. Most ones you can get are always interfeering with the drive in some way causing un-needed loss of power, whereas the system I use doesn't... Might send off for a patent..
