Well after many hours procrastinating, playing with the wiring loom and trying to tidy things up and ordering my gagues, which arrived this morning, I finally took the plunge and connected the starter motor to the battery along with the fusebox supply and turn the key.
It Cranks!!! woo hoooo.
Next stage put some fuel in the tank and try and get it to fire.
I just feel Ive reached a turning point so I thought id let peeps know.
OK it may not be a major thing for the old hands out there who have built several but it is to me.

Hi there. We are at a similar stage with our Phoenix Fireblade. After dealing with leaking fuel lines, clutch and sidestand switches, tilt sensors etc. we got it started and it seems fine. Sounds fairly quiet too.
Definately gives you a kick up the backside when this milestone is reached.
Now where's that prop? And that bodywork? And that....
