3 lots of good news.
Firstly the "no exposed exhaust" rule has been removed.
Secondly the proposed fee is with ministers and it will be reduced by at least £70 from the original quote of £540 so I'm told.
Thirdly the last registration date for SVA has been moved forward to 20th March.
Draft 3.2 of the manual will be replaced with 3.3 within the next 3 weeks when comments from inspectors being trained are taken into consideration. All good news!
Regards Stiggy

Thanks Stig

Any ideas as to why they've moved the date? Inviting (in effect) more applications isn't going to help if there is a backlog of paperwork.

There will be an announcement this week apparently. High demand at the moment for obvious reasons but they seem to be working on the basis that more time will help and not hinder by allowing more applications in. I think they are just being nice. I guess there has to be a limit to how many new applications come forward. I have put another in though, just got to build a car now! Stiggy
