It depends.

The front tracking changes the steering feel a lot, hence it's a factor that's very much down to personal preference.

For example, for hillclimbing and sprinting I'd usually set my tracking slightly toe-out (which makes the car a bit nervous and 'pointy' keen to turn in), but a bit tiring to drive on the road.

For circuit, chances are you'll probably want reasonable high speed stability, so will want a small amount of front toe-in (probably between 0.5 and 1.5mm), but try playing around with it until you get a feel that suits you.

The one absolute rule is that rear tracking should always be toe-in (between 0.5 and 1.5mm is a good range to start within, again), as rear toe out can give very unpredictable handling.

For road use, I'd go toe in, probably 1mm or so all round. As said, other results are ok, but will be less predictable on the bumpy roads we have.

I concur with everything above.

Also consider camber though, if you are running radials you probably want a bit of negative camber, a degree or two, with crossplies 0deg is probably the best starting point.
