Hi i just wondered if any "pistonhead peeps" were the owner of this vortex it came from up north, orange car with a zx9r lump in it it now living a good life in essex it would be nice to chat to the old owners & builder of this car "roll on brands hatch"

Watcha JRM you managed to sort the diff yet?

I know you were toying with tyre changes.

When you get on locost check the mac section and broken wishbone. Thats why I didnt attend the last meet with ya. Was err interesting to say the least!!!

Its with MAC1 now having everything uprated along with some new carbon goodies and a quickshifter being fitted. Hope to be driving by early may so will let you know when im next out

Hi fella yep got my tyres just awaiting my wheels to get back from the paint shop i have gone for 205/55/15 tyres (185/45/15)have been took off 6 1/2 " more rolling circumference thats a start made my full roll cage also see ya @ the next meet?

Cool. Yeah Im hoping to be there. Its really if mines done. Ill give the guys at MAC a call tomorrow and see if I can push for end of month

You changing diff too? What ya think the tyres will do in gearing? I know yours is like lightening to 100 but tops out not much after

i worked it out to 126mph but the road angel will tell if my calculations are right 125s ok but diff might be next i have gone for maxsport rb5 tyres when they wear down re groove into wets i used to run maxsports on my class7 autograss car good tyres but will see how good they are on the 15th hopefully @ brands hatch 1st trackday for me & the mrs if i can scrub them in in time
