I cant seem to find any decent info on the web to show me what to expect at my first Stoneleigh show in a couple of weeks. Other than cars parked row-upon-row, what else is there? I presume the manufacturers will all be there along with owners clubs etc? What about drives/rides? Scantily clad girls? Show and shine?

Plenty of manufacturers there yes, inside the halls (we're in Hall One, red car white spots). Lots of club stands. Component suppliers too and usually Sevens giving demos in an outdoor arena too. Depends on the British weather as to the state of dress of the ladies.

The show is for Kit car builders and enthusiasts it's not an entertainment show So don't expect all the hype of lasers and lights it's very much a nuts and bolts show. More 5th Gear than Top Gear. If you're looking for Jeremy Clarkeson you won't find him, but you might find Tiff Needel. If you're looking at building a car then it's a must go as you'll most likely see at least one car from any of the manufacturers ever produced somewhere or other and you can talk with the owners and builders. It's the World's biggest Kit Car show.

Sounds like the perfect show for me - I'm looking to build a 7 type car in the next 2 years and I like nuts and bolts!

You can ride in a Westfield drifting and donutting around cones, and you can ride in a Dakar offroader on a purpose built offroad course. That is good fun. There are pretty girls there, but they are just the public! You will meet every type of kit car you can think of, and get honest answeres to questions.

You can read the show guide online here

There's also a show preview in the latest issue of CKC if you want to know what new cars etc will be there.

Most of the women looked inbred. Nice half dressed girls next year please.
