Hi m8 ... that was me a few weeks ago ... yup the pigeon definitely met its maker, made me flinch ...lol ... thought you may have been spitting feathers too ... lol
Car had silver wheels at the time and I was on the way back from the clubs sunny hunny run, was a good day out and we managed to get 19 westfields, 1 aeon gt3 and an extreme ... a very good turnout, you should get on WSSC site, we do loads of blats out, some gentle and some a little quicker ... I am certain the team would be very keen to have an aton join in the fun and I would like to have a drool over it too
and if you fancy a blat at any point just give us a call, I am usually up to it subject to family commitments (3 kids arrghhh)wont let me email you with my number atm ???
you will notice crx wheels changed since we last met plus RAC roll bar ...upgradicus
See quote below from WSSC forums that I made after the day out ...you even get a mention ...
agreed - really cool to see such a load of Westies and a few other makes too - hope you all made it home safe and sound with no more tickets :arse:
totally by accident on the way back I managed to hook up with a arial atom near Kings Lynn and we enjoyed each others company on the road until he turned off near Guyhirn - was a smart looking machine and very quick - I think I spotted a fireblade sticker on the side
Had a couple of incidents with feathered birds today - one was a close call with a pheasant on a corner which I managed to dodge - the other bird (pigeon) was not so lucky I am afraid to say - all I can say is that it hit my screen right in front my head - in a flurry of feathers, a splat and a big flinch from me I managed to literally squeeze the s**t out of its back end which went all over the top of the screen -
confirms my thoughts about aero screens - you really gotta wear a helmet !!!
Anyway I apologise to the bird and to the atom owner behind who must have been literally spitting feathers
Missed the ride in the Aeon Steve - b****r ! Will try to get over this week to view the wheels ..
Tony - Contact me when you can about the wheels - you can take them at any point - I have axle stands
Chris - really liked the look of your motor - has the look I like
Nigel - sweet Westy you got there - hope the job search goes well and it does not have to go
Nice to meet all of you today, especially the guys that came from further afield - sorry I had to b****r off - had a great time with the kids on the beach, I took them back to the carpark to see the cars and you had all left
I am even more revved up for the next outing now
Chaz - hope you had a spiffing birthday
Bring it on
All the best m8 and keep getting that atom out
