Freelander LSD in Megabusa
Discussion
Hi guys!
My Megabusa has come with a Freelander diff installed..
Question 1..
Is it a Landrover freelander diff with quaife internals? or is it just named a Freelander?
Question 2..
Where can i get an Inner CV joint for it?
Hopefully some of you guys and shed some light on this for me

Benzo
Having had the joint out when i got a chance, the CV looks very different to that..
Westfield have told me that they dont sell inner CV's. they say its likely a landrover part, does anyone have any idea from what model of freelander, petrol or diesel even it would be from?
should i try and ring Quaiffe?

The CV's joints linked to look like Ford ones to me. All freelander model's, petrol and diesel use the same 3.2:1 ratio, and i believe the driveshafts will be a hybrid of Freelander inner CV's, Ford outer CV's, and a custom shaft between the two.
Have you had a look on Ebay for pics of Freelander rear inner CV's to see if they look the same as your Westie ones?

I have just ordered the full drive kit from westfield, but not needed the outer joint or a new shaft it has worked out at £260 which is expensive enough i would have thought

Would prefare to njust get my hands on an inner joint tho..
