Hi All

As my first car was a supercharged mini moke. I have never been very impressed with modern cars which are frankly dull to drive. I had a BMW 5 series which was so DULL. I currently drive a smart four two which aside from a remap and some wider tires is standard. It's 0-60 time is horrendously slow but in the right power range a laugh to drive enthusiastically. It is my day-to-day car and have done 2 trips to the north of Scotland (with wife and three dogs) and it was a real hoot. So you have figured I like a challenge - the question is, can one use a Westfield as a day-today car, winter and summer. I can put up with a bit of damp coming in but I wanted to get some feed back from some more experienced users. My smart can tootle along the fast lane of a motor way at a steady 85 - 90 mph and feels pretty solid. I have never seen a westfield type venture from the slow or middle lane - does the hood blow off or the front start to lift etc? Any thoughts would be gratefully received

You can - I did it for a couple of years when I was younger, and there are others on Pistonheads who have, too - but you've got to be pretty masochistic, to be honest.

Do a seach on here for 'Seven as an everyday car'. It's been discussed in quite some detail before.
