I think Porsche make a very short rack, from memory it's off the 911.

If you only want a " one - off " ,try one of the racecar breakers, most single seaters use a short rack, alternatively ,depending on the front suspension set up,take a look a the Lotus Mk8/9 IIRC they used a shortened and modified rack with a swing axle front suspension.

In the end I'd decided to use a Fiat Cinquecento / Seicento rack as it's the narrowest I can find.
BTW the Furore Formula 1 uses the same rack.

Yes the FIAT rack is nice and small, it does have quite a few turns lock-to-lock but no doubt with your very lightweight car you can adjust the steering arm lengths to get plenty of travel on partial lock and fit rack travel restrictors.

Doug.
P.S. - thanks for the MSVA manual wink

how about auto grass stuff! I have used DRD stuff in the past and they seem like a nice bunch, have not used Berrisford but they are a big name in the auto grass world so guess they are just as good.

I would've suggested the autograss racks as Jamie (DRD) is a mate of mine. However, they are very, very quick racks compared to "normal" racks.
