As the title says really, if I spot a good car which has got damage to the fibreglass, how easy and expensive is it to replace or repair? I can see the front bodywork comes off in one easy lump, so it could easily be replaced or resprayed, but what about the bodywork around and behind the passenger compartment?

Is it all bonded together or would I just have to drill out some rivets and stuff?

You'll have to ask the builder what he did when he fitted the body.

I had a Fury in a while back, and it would have been a lot easier to remove the bodywork to do what I was doing with it, but I really didn't fancy it.

Having said that, if you were replacing it anyway then it wouldn't matter if the current bodywork got damaged while removing it, whereas in my case it would have.

A full set of bodywork for a Fury is somewhere around £1200-£1400 I think. It's about £500 for a bonnet. Replacing the rear tub will depend as has been stated already on how it was fitted in the first place. Your main problem will be the scuttle which may well have quite a few ancillaries mounted onto it - rectifier, battery, fusebox etc.

On mine I separated the scuttle from the main tub before fitting so the bodywork is removable, I can remove it on my own in about 20 seconds smile

Depending on how bad it is repairing fibreglass isn't terribly difficult and you can recover surprisingly badly damaged panels. Here are a before and after of my bonnet after a slight altercation at Snetterton:
