Meeting of the Clans

there'll be a topic posted in Events section, but as it applies directly to fellow k/car owners thought i'd highlight it here: 6th Sept there'll be a run down to Bentley Wildfowl/ Motor Museum nr Lewes Sussex. Simple concept. Aiming to have 4 start points n/e/s/west - hopefully giving folks across a wide area a chance to meet up and have a run down to the meeting place. those that are still some distance from the start points are welcome to make their own way to the meet. spot of tyre kicking, lunch, chance to meet like minded folks and hopefully make some new car buddies - and perhaps through this find out about folks who may live quite close by and who would fancy run outs in the future. Seems that aside from the odd established owners clubs the k/car scene is by its very nature a bit ad-hoc - this gives those owners across a wide area: kent/sussex/surrey/south london etc a chance to get together. would like to hear from anyone that is int'd in this run, welcome to email me and i'll gladly keep you updated on timing/numbers etc. so far have about 20 owners onboard and waiting to hear back from a few clubs. east= 7oaks, west = newlands, north = somewhere croydon/caterham - need someone to sort that ( any takers??) same goes for south coast - brighton type area. all runs will work out the route they prefer.cheers mark
