Do we have any Fury experts near Bristol?
Discussion
I'm planning to have a look at this one either early evening tomorrow or on Saturday:

I believe this has already been discussed on here and some people remarked that it was a tad on the expensive side, but then again it ticks all the boxes as far as I'm concerned (I'm looking for a car mainly for trackday use).
Trouble is that I've not really seen a Fury up close and while I'm pretty sure that I can assess the overall quality of the car, I'm not sure if there are any specific weaknesses to look for. So any advice would be more than welcome and in case there is someone near the car who knows their Furys and would be willing to provide a second pair of eyes in exchange for a few beer/curry tokens, that would be much appreciated, too...

I'm a Phoenix owner rather than a Fury owner, but there's not much difference in practice.
To be honest there's not much to be wary of on either model, as they're pretty straightforward mechanically and structurally, but if you don't get any better offers I could take a look with you, if you like.
I'm elsewhere Saturday morning and evening, but I'm free tomorrow evening or Saturday afternoon, at the moment.

That would be splendid if you could - I'm hoping that I'll be able to get over there tomorrow by about 6.30-ish but I won't know until tomorrow if I can actually make it or if it'll have to be Saturday. To be honest there's not much to be wary of on either model, as they're pretty straightforward mechanically and structurally, but if you don't get any better offers I could take a look with you, if you like.
No worries - nice meeting you, anyway.
I seem to be the kiss of death for prospective car purchases at the moment - I scared someone else off buying an FW400 at the weekend after taking him for a spin in mine (the one he was thinking of buying is SORN, so couldn't be driven)!
Ah well... better luck next time!
