Help re noise from new 2ltr Blacktop

After a few weeks we got the new engine running tonight BUT we have a noise.
We are using the pinto lightened flywheel from Burton we had on the 1.8 silvertop. Pinto 2ltr as new clutch as on the 1.8Ltr Also. Is this correct with the 2Ltr Blacktop?
The noise seems to be coming from the clutch release bearing because if we remove the clutch cable the noise goes. If we reconnnect the cable and push down on the clutch the noise gets loud.
apart from that the engine started and sounds bloody good
