Sources of windscreens for specialist cars?
Discussion
Any suggestions (ideally including links
)as to places where I could buy some windscreens of the type that are fitted to Le Mans Prototypes or similar cars, ie steeply raked, curved and narrower than the full width of the car?
They are not required for an existing car BTW, but something that can be incorporated into the design of a new one. Continuity of supply would be important.
Thanks in anticipation

If you are only after an odd one or two then would a Lancia Stratos be of any use?
Otherwise you will be spashing out on tooling and buying screens in batches of probably 25+ each time.
Edited to add.. Maybe an Ultima screen would do the trick.

The Stratos screen would probably be a touch too wide, the Ultima would be more the sort of thing that I'm looking for but if it's unique to them then I'd prefer not to use it (they might prefer it to!).Otherwise you will be spashing out on tooling and buying screens in batches of probably 25+ each time.

Having a batch made isn't out of the question. Does anyone know who might be able to do that?
I've been looking back a bit and found this thread

Phil did a good job for us. Our screen was quite a challenging shape but its now available to order etc.

Stealth do some nice heated units that im sure would look great
I'm pretty sure that I've got my supplier sorted out now, but just as a matter of interest, who are these 'Stealth' people? Stealth is a very popular name and putting 'stealth windscreen' in Google isn't yielding any useful information.re: Stratos screen
The Stratos is not, by modern or Group C standards, a wide car - and I guesstimated glasshouse width at ~1250mm; it's considerably inset within overall width, which I'm guessing is less than Ultima.

If you use the Ultima screen it's gonna look like a Group C wannabee whatever you do. I think the Stratos screen offers more possibilities and is readily available
