Raceline do them (nice but not cheap), I had one from Scholar (they do a modification to the original). To DIY it, assuming you have access to TIG welding, chop the bottom off so it's flush with the bottom of the bellhousing, plate over the bottom, and to recover some capacity, there are one or two (I forget) 'pockets' that you can cut away then plate over to give a more rectangular shape to the well. Oil pickup needs to be adapted to suit of course. TBH...the Scholar mods are pretty good value I think. It was £200 in 2005, £35 less if you sent them a sump to mod.
Never had the slightest problem with the Scholar job on ours. Not as pretty as a custom made casting....but I don't often gaze at the sump myself

(edit - sorry, I put Dunnel, it was Scholar - corrected).

I've had my raceline sump on my 1.8 zetec and now 2ltr Zetec blacktop. been great on track, give good clearance and hold 5ltr of oil. and it's done the job bloody well.
Yes expansive. I think off the top of my head costs me £400 about 5-6 years ago, but if your keeping it it costs less in the long run. if you get me
Plus never ever had any problems with it which is the main thing, even after t
tting it on a bump once in france on the way to Le Man in 06

If you leave the stock sump on it you WILL hit things with it. Ideally, you want the bottom of the sump in line with the bottom of the bell housing. FWIW, the Scholar modified one uses a nice thick and fairly tough plate on the bottom. I've done no testing of the theroy, but it looks like it should be at least as strong as the original casting and easier to repair in the event of a problem. Not knocking the Raceline item, just commenting on the one I have.
