After last night's Top Gear couldn't resist nipping over to TVR forum to witness the outrage but did anyone clock what Jezza tried to pass off as his own work? Looked very much like a Libra to me...

The Original front is the right front smile

The Spyder or GTO fronts are the girly later designs (Wrong) wink

The Libra and Spyder are seperate designs by Richard Oakes.
He softened the lines of the front to to compliment the more rounded rear of the Spyder.

You CAN fit the Spyder Front to the Libra.
But it makes you a tosser.

Maurice's car is certainly a one-off at both ends. I'm not sure about the wide 'mouth', but the effort he's gone to deserves enormous praise.
