Hi all
Thinking of changing my 16" 195/45/16 all round team dynamics pro race 2 on the indy for 13" 5.5j et38 ford wheels(lighter and cheaper tyres) and running 185/60/13s all around. Will these definately fit and will 185 be wide enough?

Thanks
Phil

All the Indys I've seen have been on 195s, so you should be ok. Have you checked the rolling radius will be the same? or if it's different, is it different in the direction you want?

Hi,
Rolling radius is smaller so will give even better acceleration and top speed slightly reduced which is what im after really. Will be fitting 185 a048r's is medium compound ok for road and occasional track?

My Indy was built using the original Sierra alloys, shod with 185 / 60 R14's R88's.

I changed down to 13" minilites last year with no bother. Fitted with a set of 185 / 60 R13's R888's again (don't think you can get a 195 width, but you can get a 205.

Rolling radius isn't noticeable on the road, but I had to recalibrate my gear indicator / speedo.

The only stumbling block, as far as I'm aware is big front discs and clearance over rear disc brakes (I have drums on the back).
