Personal plates on a kit car

Hello people

Looking to buy a Mac#1, MK type kit car very soon.

Is it possible to put one of my plates onto such a car??
If is, is it possible to put in on a "Q" plate??

Not possible on a Q.

Possible on one with an ordinary reg subject to the usual rules such as not making a car look younger than it is etc.
