Quantum Sports Cars announce the launch of Quantum Heritage, following an exclusive deal with MB Motorsport.
Quantum Sports Cars has announced the sale of its lightweight two seater sportster, front engine, real wheel drive model, the Xtreme, to the South West based sports cars experts MB MotorSport who will continue the Quantum brand, in an exclusive deal signed today.
MB Motorsport was founded in 2008 by Mark Burley, boasting an excellent reputation as a specialist in sports cars offering a range of services from TVR service to kit car specialist builds.
“Over the last 10 years, we have always strived to ensure we deliver British Sports Cars to the highest of standards but tailored to our customer’s needs – so the result is always their own. So it was important to us to ensure that whoever would take on the Xtreme would share that passion and ethos”, explains Rosemary Sampson, Managing Director, Quantum Sports Cars.
“Mark and the MB Motorsport team share our enthusiasm and ethos, and will continue to develop the successful Xtreme model not only for past, present and existing customers but for a whole new generation”
MB Motorsport will be trading as Quantum Sports Cars (2010) Limited from the 1st March 2010 and will be moving into part of Xtreme Works, the purpose design workshop and showroom which they will share with the newly formed Quantum Heritage – with all contact details for Quantum Sports Cars remaining the same.

MB Motorsport is well known South West sports car workshop, from a TVR service to a Westfield build to an ECU re-map we can cater for all your requirements. Its team are trained to deal with your specialist car and benefit from small volume manufacturer training.
MB Motorsport was launched in 2008, the founder of MB Motorsport, Mark Burley, started from his degree in Aerospace Engineering, then went to work for Cosworth and then become head engineer of Marcos Engineering all whilst building his own sports cars from his garage. This industry experience and a passion for sports cars gave him understanding of the need for quality within the industry.
The founder's own sports cars have been quoted to be the most wild version of that kit that has ever been seen before, from a 360 bhp lotus seven replica to the present project of a mid engined Fisher Fury with a turbo charged Suzuki Hayabusa engine fitted, This is the only road legal car of this kind to exist in England hence it is very special.
“The mission of MB Motor-Sport is to give the customer the best possible service for their vehicle, every vehicle brought through the doors at MB Motorsport is loved by its owner and our team aim to treat it the same way” explains Mark Burley, owner MB Motor-Sport.
I spoke to Mark Burley at length the other day and undersand that he is hoping to change the aesthetics of the car with a new external design that may be available for a retro fit. A good close look at the chassis design reveals that the stainless steel monocoque and suspension set up is very different from most space frame chassis kits which should result in a better handling car, albeit maybe 50kg heavier.Quantum Sports Cars has announced the sale of its lightweight two seater sportster, front engine, real wheel drive model, the Xtreme, to the South West based sports cars experts MB MotorSport who will continue the Quantum brand, in an exclusive deal signed today.
