Hello people

Well, after securing an MNR VORTEX with a deposit on pistonheads a couple of weeks ago the guy now tells me that he does not want to sell it!!
Almost 2 weeks on and theres NO sign of my deposit being returned!!

Any ways, the story does finish a wee bit better.
I have managed to secure a Mac#1 car, with a fireblade engine from Mac#1

Will be picking it up late next week, driving all the way home to sunny Scotland!!

Thanks to Mac#1 for all their help and advice

Colin

personally I'd hope that those in PH towers would help you name shame and remove his sorry arse from this site pronto. Not on, not on in the slightest.

Good luck with the replacement mate, hope you get your folding stuff back asap.

Did you get a signed recipt? Get him on his mobile phone, then tell him walk to a cashpoint and pay the cash directly into your bank account. If that is not agreeable to him, tell him you will take him to the small claims court and add on more money for wasting your time. I have had to do that to a couple of my customers in the past who seemed to think it was perfectly acceptable to gete to work for them then conveniently not ever pay me.

If it was him that called it off rather than you then I can't see any justification whatsoever for keeping the deposit. I'd send the boys round I was you!

Left anouther voice mail with him around an hour ago.
I had also booked 2 flights down for myself and my partner to view and collect the car!!

Everything was sorted....then nothing for 10 days.....then i finally got an email saying he was not selling the car.
Very strange......the serious thing is that the cash was sent from a lawyers bank account.
So if all else fails, the lawyer, Father in law can chase it.
I on the other hand have his address.....and will be done that way in the next couple of weeks to collect anouther car.
i may just nip in past and collect my money

I will name and shame the guy......if he does not contact me within 24 hours.

Generally my rule is treat people how you wish to be treated.

Thanks dudes

For that kind of money I would name and shame. Having a eft receipt would be enough. These things always leave a sour taste in the mouth.

If things do get nasty, send Marc Nordon (?) a friendly email. Not to get anything out of him but to let him know what it is doing to the brand.

Now focus on the new clubby!!! Any pics? smile

Great to see another Mac#1 driver

Wasnt the yellow one by any chance with the 929 Blade engine? I was there getting some bits done on mine the other week and that had just arrived.

You'll have plenty of fun. Mark & Collin are good guys if a little laid back.

Get some pics & driving experience once you've had it for a bit

It looks similar to mine. Same year too. Get the Aeroscreen off them. Makes it look muuuuch better!!

Std Alloys are quite big, look nice but if you want performance some 15in lightweights will work nicely.

If I remember its got a cherry bomb pipe like mine had. There silly loud, I ended up fitting a real big silencer that didnt affect power and meant I could boot it without the old bill constantly tugging me

Hey Dean

Yeh i have ordered the screen in carbon, 13" black wheels, new steering wheel and a new roll bar from Mac#1. Just wanted to get it how I would have liked.

Unsure on the silencer issue. Could I change it for a bike can with ease??
Any advice or help would be good mate. I really appriciate it. thanks
