Nice!! smile

Random question.. Does a trike (any trike, not just the R1) have to have a front and rear registration plate like a car, or just a rear one like a bike??

I think if it's MSVA'd then it should only have a rear one.

I don't like trikes usually, but that does look cool smile

Actually, the DVLA say that if it's motorcycle derived then must meet the requirements for a motorcycle. A car derived trike needs both front and rear plates as it has to comply to the requiremenf for a car.

http://www.dft.gov.uk/dvla/forms/~/media/pdf/leafl...

However, I can find no definition of what comprises motorcycle or car derived. smile So my Skunk has a motorcycle engine & gearbox, is chain driven and has two motorcycle tyres... I'm saying it's motorcycle derived and does not need a front plate.

A Motorcycle derived trike MUST NOT have a front number plate if it was first registered after a certain year, so says the DVLA.
