Why ask here?
Go and ask those brokers who specialise in such policies.
MSM are very helpful, also try: Flux, Footman James, etc.

There's quite a few threads asking about kit car insurance, but in the end, brokers and insurance companies offer different deals to different people with different cars and different circumstances, the only way to find out how much it's going to cost you is by asking the people who actually provide it.

I tried - but they all want to know what engine it has etc, and I can't find a Spyder for sale to rip the info from.Go and ask those brokers who specialise in such policies.

Everyone raves on about how cheap insurance is on kit cars - my insurance is £1200 at age 18 with 1 years NCB and pass plus.
What could I expect to pay for a GTM Spyders insurance, using it as a daily driver, on a 12-15k miles per year policy?
It isn't going to be cheaper than what you currently have. But for the level of performance and individuality you get, it's cheap (for a young person anyway). What could I expect to pay for a GTM Spyders insurance, using it as a daily driver, on a 12-15k miles per year policy?
I'm 20(insured it when I was 19 though), 1 years NCB, License at 17... Insured with Adrian Flux on my 1.8VVC Libra for £1400. Sounds expensive to an older person but at our age it's not. That's on unlimited mileage, which I think means 12k, in hindsight I could've got it cheaper as I'm unlikely to clock up that amount of miles. Before that I was driving a 1.6 fiat stilo which was costing me £1650 a year and the thing was slooooow!
MSM were very helpful but sadly couldn't get close to Flux.
Finally, why a Spyder? Are you a hairdresser?

LOL
Was looking through the kit-car thread, and they all looked fairly shedlike tbh. I like the front of the Libra, but the rear end lets it down - the Spyder's rear looks GREAT. Dont want or need an open top, but it looked quite good.
Seems the insurance isn't as cheap as i'd hoped
